EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville baseball team was unable to complete the weekend sweep of Southern Illinois on Sunday, dropping the series finale by a score of 16-3 at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium. The game was close through the first four innings, but the Salukis broke a 3-3 tie with a 7-run fifth inning. Drew McConnell (Blue Springs, Mo./Blue Springs) had his third three-hit effort of the week, collecting three of Evansville's five hits.
