7-point 2nd quarter lifts Women鈥檚 Lax past Wheaton
NORTON, Mass. 鈥� The United States Coast Guard Academy women’s lacrosse team handed an 18-10 defeat to New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foes Wheaton College on Sunday, April 12th. The Bears were able to pull away from their hosts with a 7-0 effort in the second quarter. Coast Guard improves to 10-1 on the season and 7-0 in the NEWMAC with their seventh consecutive win, while the Lyons move to 10-4 overall and 5-3 against league opponents after the loss breaks their four-game win streak.
