Women’s Tennis: Scots Fall to St. Catherine in MIAC Dual, 5-2
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team lost to St. Catherine University, 5-2 in a MIAC dual Friday night at Baseline Tennis Center. The Scots are now 6-6 overall and 1-3 in the conference, while the Wildcats improve to 12-4 on the season and 5-2 in the MIAC. In doubles play, seniors Savannah Haugen (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji) and Elizabeth Trevathan (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy) battled Faith Simon and Ashley King and brought home a 7-5 win in No. 1 doubles.
