Women鈥檚 Lax Earns Senior Day Win
The Misericordia University women’s lacrosse team celebrated Senior Appreciation Day with a 17-0 win over Delaware Valley, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field. Delaney Campanella led the Cougars with five goals while Ashtyn Torbert added four. Alicia Pileggi and Riley Fischer recorded two goals apiece and Ryan Gross posted five saves in the shutout. Misericordia’s offense came out firing early as Kristen Travaglini dished to Jenna Jacques cutting down the middle, where she buried the shot to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead within the first two minutes.
