Wolverines fall to Scots, will play for 3rd
NORTON, Mass. -- The Grove City College women's water polo team dropped a 10-4 decision Saturday afternoon to second-seeded Macalester in the semifinals of the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Championships, hosted by Wheaton College. Sixth-seeded Grove City trailed 4-3 entering the fourth quarter but the Scots outscored Grove City, over the final eight minutes, 6-1. Junior Shastyn Tihansky (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) scored twice for Grove City while senior Kiley Sill (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) and freshman Emily Addison (Eads, Tenn./Faith Heritage Christian) also scored.
