West Georgia holds off FGCU
CARROLLTON, Ga. 鈥� Florida Gulf Coast softball (14-24, 8-5 ASUN) took an early lead, but West Georgia (12-30, 4-9) came back to win the first game of Saturday's doubleheader 8-5. Jenna Samuel went 3-for-4 with a home run, and Cacie Cutright added a 1-for-2 day with two RBI and two walks to pair with her complete game in the circle.
