Wabash Sits Second After First Round of Timbergate Preview
EDINBURGH, Ind. — Finn Carteaux fired an even-par 72 on Saturday to lead Wabash College into second place after the opening round of the Spalding University Timbergate Preview at Timbergate Golf Club. Wabash’s A squad posted a team total of 295 (+7), good enough for sole possession of second place in the 11-team field. Grinnell grabbed the first-round lead at 3-under 285, giving the Pioneers a 10-stroke cushion heading into Sunday’s final round.
