VWU Shows Fight in Road Match at Christopher Newport
The Virginia Wesleyan men’s tennis team competed with resilience on the road but ultimately fell 6-1 to No. 27 Christopher Newport. In doubles play, the Marlins were unable to secure the early point despite competitive efforts across all three positions. At No. 1 doubles, Jed Platts and Ayaan Choudhary faced a tough matchup and dropped a 6-2 decision. The No. 2 duo of Hovo Madanyan and Alen Curovic also fell 6-1.
