Vulcans rally to sweep at Pitt-Johnstown
CALIFORNIA (April 11) – The California (PA) softball team scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning in Game 2 on Saturday afternoon to complete a doubleheader sweep at Pitt-Johnstown in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action, winning 2-1 in Game 1 and 11-8 in Game 2. NOTES • The Vulcans (12-22, 7-9) swept their first twinbill since March 21. • Freshman Autumn Bielecki (6-6) earned the victory in both games on Saturday while working a combined 7.0 innings. • Fellow freshman Indyana Bolyea scored four runs after collecting three hits and one walk.
