Valkyries Break School Record For Goals In A Game
FERRUM, VA. – The Converse University lacrosse team scored earlier and often on Saturday afternoon as they obliterated Ferrum 27-0. With the win the Valkyries improve to 7-8 overall and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas action. Converse has now won three straight games dating back to last Saturday’s win over Barton. Meanwhile, Ferrum drops to 3-12 overall and 1-6 in Conference Carolinas play. Today’s 27 goal outburst broke the program record for goals in a single game.
