UPike split DH with Bryan, wins series
The University of Pikeville won the weekend series from Bryan College, splitting a Saturday afternoon doubleheader. UPike won the wild opener 15-11 before the Lions took the finale 12-7. Designated hitter Garren Gledhill had four hits, including two doubles, and drove in seven on the day. Second baseman Samuel Brown finished the day with four hits, including a double, and scored twice. UPike is now 22-14 on the season, 11-10 in the AAC.
