Two Provisionals and seven top five finishes at Grizzly Gold Invite
Men’s Track and Field | 4/11/2026 8:21:00 PM April 11, 2026- Connor Deters became just the fourth Hornet to reach 18 meters in the shot put to highlight Saturday’s action for Emporia State track and field at the Grizzly Gold Invite in El Dorado, Kan. He was one of two provisional qualifiers for the Hornets on Saturday. Deters won the men’s shot put with a provisional qualifying mark of 18.03m (59-01.75) that will move him into third in the MIAA and seventh in the nation this season as of Saturday afternoon.
