Trojan jumpers win two events at JMU Invitational
Harrisonburg, Va. (Apr. 11, 2026)- The Virginia State men’s track and field team traveled to the JMU Invitational on Saturday where Kwame Whitaker and Jeryll Gaines won the long jump and triple jump respectfully. Whitaker won his event with a best mark of 7.08 meters while Gaines won his with a new personal best of 14.24 meters. On the track Miles Artis-Ablack was second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.38 seconds, which is his new personal best while Amarion Harrell was fourth with a time of 21.61 seconds.
