Trinkus Calls Game in Fourth Overtime
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- With one second on the clock in the fourth overtime, Syracuse University's Caroline Trinkus called game and scored the game-winning goal for a 10-9 win for No. 3 Orange over No. 19 Notre Dame at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday afternoon. Playing one of the longest games in Syracuse (12-3, 7-2 ACC) women's lacrosse history, Trinkus finished the hat trick with her third goal of the day to win it and extend the nation's longest winning streak to 12.
