Transylvania Rolls To Victory Over Hanover
Matthew Welsh Contributing Writer LEXINGTON, KY- Transylvania defeated Hanover in dominant fashion 19-4, at Pat Deacon Stadium. The Pioneers were led by Layla Hobbs-Powell and Kaelin Truman whom both scored five goals respectively in the win. Transylvania finished with 51 shots, including 37 on goal, while making three saves and committing 13 turnovers. The Pioneers also recorded 11 clears and 40 ground balls. Layla Hobbs-Powell scored the first two goals in the first two minutes of the game. However, Hanover got on the board but Kaelin Truman scored her first goal to increase the Pioneers lead 3-1.
