Track & Field Sets Three Meet Records, Collects Nine Wins to Close Cactus Cup
KINGSVILLE, Texas 鈥� The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) outdoor track & field women’s team set three Cactus Cup meet records and the Vaqueros collected nine event wins Saturday to wrap up the meet at Javelina Stadium. Freshman Dior Williams had a huge day earning a pair of victories and meet records. She helped the women’s 4×100-meter relay team get the win in a meet record time of 45.56, running the third leg along with redshirt junior Ashley Lingueno, sophomore Jizzale Davis and senior Kaliyah Poston.
