Tiger Throwers Compete on Day Two of Grizzly Gold Invite
EL DORADO, Kan. – Throwers from the Fort Hays State men’s and women’s track and field teams wrapped up the weekend Saturday (April 11) at the Grizzly Gold Invite, earning five podium finishes and surpassing one national qualifying mark. Emma Slade won the hammer throw with a national-qualifying heave of 181-11 on her first attempt, second-best at FHSU during the DII and currently 12th in Division II this season.
