Thoroughbreds nearly come back in game two but settle for split at Union after putting up 13 in opener
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. 鈥� The Skidmore College softball team picked up its first Liberty League win of the year in game one of a Saturday doubleheader at Union with a 13-8 victory over the Garnet Chargers. In game two, Skidmore put the tying run on third with one out trying to complete a three-run comeback, but was unable to knock in the run and settled for a split.
