Sweep of 800 Meters and Top 10 Marks in Throwing Events Highlight Rutgers Relays for Women鈥檚 Track & Field
PISCATAWAY, N.J.鈥� The fast heat of the 800 meters at the Rutgers Relays produced a 1-2-3-4 sweep for Villanova on a successful day overall which saw the Wildcats post season and personal best marks in seven different events. Sophomore middle distance runner Bella Walsh (Wilmington, Del.) had one of those PRs to win the 800 meters, while first year throwers Jess Bentum (Deptford, N.J.) and Hallie Kees (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) recorded top 10 marks on the Wildcats all-time performance lists in the hammer and the javelin, respectively.
