Softball Falls to Seton Hall
VILLANOVA, Pa. 鈥� The Villanova softball team lost 4-0 to Seton Hall Saturday at the VU Softball Complex. The 'Cats (9-32, 5-12 BIG EAST) were shutout for the seventh time this season in the loss. Maranda Runco (L, 1-2) got the start, pitching four innings, striking out three, walking one and giving up three earned runs on seven hits. The game was scoreless for the first three innings before the Pirates (14-23, 4-13) broke through in the fourth, scoring two runs.
