Softball Falls to No. 6 Florida in Series Opener
COLUMBIA, S.C. 鈥� The South Carolina softball team (23-18, 3-10) fell in the opening game of its SEC series Friday night (Apr. 10) 5-0 to No. 6 Florida (38-5, 12-4). Jori Heard (6-6) started for Carolina and suffered the loss despite allowing only one unearned run on four hits and striking out six in 5 2-3 innings.
