Softball falls in game two to Omaha
SAINT PAUL, Minn. 鈥� St. Thomas softball dropped game two of its Summit League series to Omaha, 10-2, Saturday afternoon at South Field. The Mavericks used a sixth-run fourth inning to pull away and secure the series win. Omaha (26-7, 8-0 Summit League) struck early with runs in each of the first two innings before breaking the game open in the fourth. The Mavericks added two more runs in the sixth to cap their 10-run performance. St. Thomas (24-12, 5-3) finished with six hits and committed one error in the contest.
