Softball: Eagles Erupt Early, Defeat Jessup 14–8
SACRAMENTO, Calif.—The Biola softball team secured a 14–8 victory over Jessup University on Saturday afternoon at Becky Rust Field, using a big first inning to set the tone while totaling 17 hits. Biola wasted no time taking control, erupting for seven runs in the opening inning. Lizzie Byer and Alexa Sheard recorded back-to-back hits, and Lillianna Garcia scored a run with a bases-loaded walk.
