Softball Claims Road Sweep at Alvernia
READING, Pa. 鈥� Eastern University Softball locked up a spot in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament with a gritty sweep at Alvernia. Emily Trzonkowski threw seven scoreless innings for her eleventh win of the year in a 4-0 win in the opener, and the rookie standout retired the final hitter in the game to secure a 5-4 win in the nightcap. Ainsley O’Donnell had five hits on the day and went over 100 for her career, and Maryanna Nagle drove in three runs with six hits.
