Softball Bounces Back to Earn Split at Gettysburg
GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Swarthmore College softball team split a conference doubleheader at Gettysburg College on Saturday. The Bullets won a pitcher’s duel 2-1 in eight innings before the Garnet bounced back with a 14-3 rout in five frames. Elisabeth O’Connor was 3-for-6 with a double, two triples, five RBI, and two runs scored to lead the Swarthmore offense. Iris Barone was 4-for-8 with a stolen base and an RBI.
