AMHERST, Mass. 鈥� On Senior Day, Amherst men’s lacrosse delivered the perfect finish in a rivalry game, overcoming a third-quarter swing, erasing a two-goal deficit in the final 15 minutes, and surviving a last-second scare to defeat Williams, 10-9, Saturday afternoon at Pratt Field at Lehrman Stadium. The Mammoths trailed 8-6 heading into the fourth after Williams struck for five goals in the third quarter, but Amherst responded with its most composed stretch of the day.
