Salinas Celebrates 100th Win as Javelinas Extend Softball Streak
Kingsville – Fueled by late-game heroics, the Texas A&M-Kingsville softball team swept the St. Edward’s Hilltoppers, 6-5 (eight innings) and 7-5, securing the 100th head-coaching win of Orlando Salinas ‘ career and pushing the Javelinas’ win streak to a historic 13 games. An extra-inning walkoff in game one and a game-saving strikeout for the final out of game two helped to keep TAMUK’s win streak intact, earning victories in the first two games of a four-game weekend homestand.
