Rowing Finishes First Day At Knecht Cup
CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. – The Fairfield University rowing teams completed the first day of competition at the Knecht Cup with several boats earning spots in Sunday’s events. The women’s second varsity 4 opened the competition for the Stags and earned a third-place finish in its heat. The crew, consisting of Jill Segel, Catherine Martin, Zoey Ames, Molly Cleary, and coxswain Grace Tyszka, finished the course in 8:42.42, trailing Drexel University (8:19.14) and West Virginia University (8:35.91).
