Red Dragons Turn in Solid Performances at Hamilton Continental Invitational
CLINTON, N.Y. — The Oneonta men’s track & field team turned in a strong all-around showing Saturday at the Hamilton College Continental Invitational, highlighted by multiple top-three finishes and several personal-best caliber performances. Leading the way on the track, Amir Mceachin (Middletown, NY/Middletown) sprinted to a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in a personal best of 22.76 seconds. He also added a fifth-place finish with a personal record in the 100-meter dash (11.31), pacing a deep Oneonta sprint group that saw four Red Dragons place in the top 10.
