Rambo, Treharne, Vadas win at home invitational
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.–Westminster seniors Shelby Rambo (East Palestine, Ohio, Crestview) and Missy Treharne (Burton, Ohio, Beaumont School), along freshman Meghan Vadas (Youngstown, Ohio, Austintown Fitch), each won an event at the Westminster Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Westminster Invitational was held on Friday and Saturday. Slippery Rock hosted the hammer throw Friday while all events Saturday were in New Wilmington. Rambo won the shot put with a top mark of 12.55 meters (41-02.25). She also finished third in javelin with a personal-best mark of 36.19 meters (118-09) and third in the discus (38.06m,124-10).
