Quick start leads Lander to 13-6 victory over resilient GCSU
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. | Lander University used three home runs and scored the first seven runs of the game as the Bearcats defeated Georgia College & State University 13-6 in a Peach Belt Conference baseball game Saturday (April 11) afternoon at John Kurtz Field. The Bearcats improved to 23-18 overall and to 16-10 in the PBC, while the Bobcats fell to 16-22 and 10-13. The teams play the rubber game of their weekend series at 1 p.m. Sunday (April 12).
