Quakers take two from softball
WILMINGTON, Ohio – On Saturday, the Otterbein University softball team was swept by Wilmington College, 4-0 and 7-6. The Cardinals struggled offensively in the first game, held scoreless by the Quakers. Wilmington struck for three runs in the bottom of the first and never looked back, tacking on an insurance run in the fifth. Otterbein’s five hits all came from the top of the lineup, leaving six runners on base in game one. In the nightcap, Otterbein exploded for three runs in the top of the first inning.
