Prairie Fire Drop Two at Lake Forest
The Knox softball team dropped a pair of contests on Saturday, falling at Lake Forest 11-3 and 18-1. The Prairie Fire are next in action on Sunday, visiting Beloit for two. In the opener, Lake Forest led 11-0 before the Prairie Fire (5-15, 0-4) scored three in the fifth inning. Brenlie Bartlett and Kara Burwell each had RBI walks to score Knox runs.
