Pointers Sweep Stout with Walk-Off, Shutout in League Opener
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. 鈥� The UW-Stevens Point softball team (18-4, 2-0) opened league play with a sweep of UW-Stout (13-11, 0-2) on Friday. The Pointers earned a 5-4 walk-off win in 12 innings in game one and notched a 2-0 win in game two. The game one win was Ryan Konitzer ‘s 200th win as a head coach (13 wins at Alverno, 187 wins at UWSP). Hailee Thompson (Bonduel, Wis./Bonduel) , Rachael Madsen (Kenosha, Wis./Mary D.
