Pilgrims Use Balanced Scoring to Top Mitchell
NEW LONDON, CONN. – 13 different Pilgrims found the back of the net as the New England College women’s lacrosse team recorded a season-high 25 goals in their dominant Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory over Mitchell College on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Riley Davis (Weare, N.H.) opened the scoring, giving NEC a 1-0 lead. Late in the first frame, Davis, sophomore Lilly Vaughn (Belmont, N.H.), and freshman Sydney Bailey (Boscawen, N.H.) added goals to build momentum for the Pilgrims.
