NORTHAMPTON, Mass. 鈥� Violet Peverly (Granby, CT/Loomis Chaffee) delivered one of the more complete individual performances of the season Friday at Smith Softball Field, and the Bears backed her up on both sides of the day. Smith College (13-10, 5-3 NEWMAC) swept Salve Regina (3-20, 0-8 NEWMAC) by scores of 3-1 in the opener and 9-1 in six innings in the nightcap, extending the Bears’ winning streak to four games.
