Petrels show fight but fall at Sewanee
SEWANEE, Tenn. – Oglethorpe women’s lacrosse battled throughout Saturday’s Southern Athletic Association matchup but ultimately fell 20–6 to Sewanee. The Petrels came out with energy, striking first behind Ellis Mitchum, who converted a free-position opportunity for the game’s opening goal. Oglethorpe continued to apply pressure early, with Adesewa Atiba adding a man-up goal and Anna Conza finding the back of the net to keep things competitive in the first quarter.
