Pat鈥檚 Run draws close to 30,000 people for annual Tempe tradition
Athletes of all kinds gathered on Saturday, April 11, for the start of the 22nd annual Pat's Run, a tradition celebrating the legacy of the late Pat Tillman. Pat鈥檚 Run is 4.2 miles long to honor his ASU football jersey No. 42. (Tillman wore No. 40 with the Cardinals.)The course ends at the 42-yard line in Arizona State鈥檚 Mountain America Stadium. An estimated 28,000 people were expected to participate in the event, which is run through the streets of Tempe around the stadium.
