No. 5 Spartans Split Senior Day Matches on Saturday
The fifth-ranked Case Western Reserve University men’s tennis team split a pair of matches on ‘Senior Day’ at the Carlton Courts in Cleveland on Saturday, besting Baldwin Wallace University 7-0 in the morning before suffering a 5-2 loss to the third-ranked University of Chicago in the afternoon. The Spartans now stand at 23-7 overall and put an end to the Yellow Jackets’ nine-match winning streak, as Baldwin Wallace fell to 11-2. The Maroons improved to 14-3 for the campaign with the win.
