No. 17 Abbey Baseball Completes Sweep of Southern Wesleyan
CENTRAL, S.C. 鈥� The Belmont Abbey baseball team completed its fifth three-game sweep of the season in Conference Carolinas play as the Crusaders swept Southern Wesleyan in a doubleheader Saturday at Dr. C Keith Connor Field. The Crusaders broke through in the opener with a 15-4 win over the Warriors and followed that up with a 14-2 win in the series finale. Joe Whitaker led the way offensively with five hits over the course of the day while Spencer Cipro and Sawyer Osborne each recorded wins on the mound.
