Moravian Competes in Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic
LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Moravian University women’s outdoor track & field team had six competitors race in the opening day of the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic Saturday with one All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifier. Moravian Results Senior Tara Smurla took 19th in the Invitational 10,000-meter run with an AARTFC qualifying time of 36:15.92, the second fastest time in program history, just seven and a half seconds off of Smurla’s record set at Bucknell a year ago Junior Alexis Hockenberry placed 41st in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 11:51.25 while junior Alyssa Hockenberry was six spots…
