Millikin Wins over Carroll
Today, Millikin faced Carroll in the first game of the series winning 1-0 in the tenth inning. Today was Military & First Responder Appreciation Day, and the stands were packed. Sophomore Caleb Akins started on the mound for the Big Blue, going ten innings with no runs allowed, four hits, no walks, and six strikeouts. Not only was the pitching strong, but the defense showed up as well. Pete Britton and Gage Reynolds made great plays to keep Carroll from getting runners on base.
