NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Roger Williams University Men’s Track and Field team delivered a strong showing at the Silfen Invitational, highlighted by a facility record perforamnce strong showing in the decathlon across two days of competition at Connecticut College. The Hawks saw Nathan Tassey (Whitman, Mass.) capture the 10,000-meter elite title, crossing the line in a facility-record time of 29:34.42. Roger Williams also claimed the top spot in the decathlon Justin Dickson (Londonderry, N.H.) as he won the decathlon with 5,875 points to finish first overall in the 10-event competition.
