ALFRED, NY 鈥� The Alfred University men’s tennis team defeated Oswego State, 7-0 in Empire 8 action from the Alfred University Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon. The Saxons (8-4, 3-1 Empire 8) swept the Lakers (2-4, 2-2 Empire 8) in singles matches and only dropped on doubles match, but with doubles counting as one point, they secured the shutout. “A great result and a good battle,” Head Coach Jake Fisler said.
