Men鈥檚 Lacrosse Rallies Past Wheaton on Senior Day
Springfield, Mass. 鈥� April 11, 2026 鈥� The Springfield College men’s lacrosse team rallied from from first half deficit to defeat Wheaton College, 14-12, in New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon from Stagg Field. Springfield improved to 8-4 overall and to 4-1 in NEWMAC play, while Wheaton dropped to 9-4, 2-3. The Pride received three goals and three assists from Matt Webb (Northport, N.Y.) , while Ryan Berkel (Sudbury, Mass.) chipped in with three goals, an assist, three ground balls and a caused turnover.
