Mavs return to win column; split with Skyhawks
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. 鈥� Trading results in a pair of tightly-battled contests, the Colorado Mesa University softball team played to a day one split against Fort Lewis College this afternoon on a stormy day at CMU Softball Field. The Mavericks were initially defeated in a 4-2 loss to begin the day with them then rallying back late in game two to finish the nightcap with a 10-7 win.
