Maspat Leads The Way Again in Strong Performance in Phoenix
PHOENIX, Ariz. 鈥� The University of San Diego men’s golf team finished fourth out of nine teams at the Thunderbird Invitational, posting a three-round total of 6-under-par 828 (273-277-278) at Papago Golf Course on Saturday. Ian Maspat paced the Toreros with a tie for fourth-place finish, carding rounds of 65-70-68 for a 10-under 203 total. His opening-round 65 was the low score of the tournament’s first day among USD competitors and helped establish the foundation for his strong showing across all three rounds.
