WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Marquette University men's lacrosse team (6-5, 2-1 BIG EAST) fell to No. 12/13 Georgetown (6-4, 3-0 BIG EAST), 17–7, on Saturday afternoon at Cooper Field in a battle for first place in the BIG EAST. Marquette was unable to recover from an early deficit as Georgetown used a seven-goal first quarter to seize control and never looked back.
