Maki Breaks D3 Top 100 in the 800 Meters at Gene Glader Invitational
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The University of Northwestern Women’s Track and Field team drove up the road to Bethel University for the Gene Glader Invitational on Saturday. The team faced athletes from Division I, II, and III on the chilly, rain-filled day at the track. Emery Maki (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) delivered an impressive performance in the 800 meters. She finished with a tie of her season best time with 2:17.80, which also broke the top 100 time in NCAA DIII at #97. She finished fifth overall behind three DI runners and one DII runner.
