Late Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Comeback Runs Out of Time
The Muhlenberg women’s lacrosse team nearly pulled off an incredible comeback but fell two goals short and lost at Washington College, 14-12. The 24th-ranked Mules (10-3, 1-3) went through a scoring drought of more than 27 minutes from the first through third quarters while the Shorewomen (10-3, 4-1) reeled off 11 straight goals to open up a 12-2 lead. A goal by junior Kim Curcio midway through the third woke up the offense, and Muhlenberg scored five of the next six goals to close to within 13-7.
